Diagnostic Imaging – A Case to Truly Be Remembered
$20.00
This session centers on an Imaging review and discussion of active versus inactive spondylolysis and/or spondylolisthesis. There is a case presentation of a 12-year-old soccer player with active and inactive spondylolysis and/or spondylolisthesis. Dr. Yochum reviews the patient’s case management and shows follow-up images after the patient had been appropriately braced with the Boston Overlap (anti-lordotic) brace. Clinical discussion topics include management of athletes who participate in high-level contact and non-contact sports activities, and when it is safe for athletes with spondylolisthesis to participate in these types of sports activities.
